Diploma/Certificate programs in Nursing & Midwifery have intakes in January and July, while courses in Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, and Medical Laboratory Technology have intakes exclusively in July at IIHAS.
The course fee for all diploma programs, such as Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, and Diploma in Clinical Medicine, is 1,930,000 UGX per semester for national & 2,365,000/- Per Semester for International Students.
The minimum qualifications include UACE (A’LEVEL) with a principal pass in Biology and a subsidiary pass in Chemistry, or a certificate in any medical course from a recognized institution.
The fee for all certificate courses is 1,790,000 UGX Per Semester for National Students & 2,020,000UGX for International Students
Yes, the Indian Institute of Health And Allied Sciences, Kampala, Uganda, is running these programs.
